The IJBBA Show during the Iowa Beef Expo was held Friday through Sunday February 14-16, 2020.  The weekend started out frigid for cattle check-in on Friday but by show day on Saturday it was much nicer, and people were in sweatshirts!

Showmanship was held Friday afternoon following cattle check-in.  Many IJSA members showed and two IJSA Members Grace Greiman and Brooklyn Curtin were selected as the Champion and Reserve Senior Showman! Showmanship Judges were Tim Loudon and Nathan Nickle (Juniors) and Mason Edwards, Mitch Holcumb, and the Long Family carrying on Sammi’s legacy (Seniors).

Once again IJSA exhibited their animals in a competitive show!  136 Simmental animals (and IJSA dues paid) were entered by 130+ youth.  14 Simmental Steers, 69 Foundation Simmental heifers and 53 Simmental Heifers were entered.  The Market Animal Judges were Dave Duello &PD Miller.  Breeding Heifer Judges were Zach Butler &Andy Higgins.
